A | A Safe Place of Work
The workplace will promote the health and safety of the employees and will not expose
them to dangerous conditions.
M | Minimum Wage
Remuneration will be at least the higher of minimum wages required by local law and the
industry standard.
E | Equitable treatment
Employees have the right to express their views about workplace conditions without fear.
No employee will be subject to any abuse of any kind.
R | Right to Equality
An employee will be judged solely on their ability to do the job. Every employee will be
treated with equality regardless of race, age, creed, colour, sex, sexual orientation, social
origin, political views or position.
I | Integrity
Dealings with employees will demonstrate integrity at all times. Obligations to employees
will not be avoided through the use of contracting, sub-contracting or home-working arrangements.
C | Collective Bargaining
Employees have the right to join unions, or other work related associations as well as the
right to collective bargaining.
A | A Fair Working week
A fair working week will meet local labour law requirements, up to a maximum of 60 hours
including overtime. Workers shall be entitled to one day off in every seven as a minimum.
N | No Forced Labour
No factory will be used where compulsory or other forced labour is used.
A | Anti Child Labour
“Child” refers to a person who is younger than 15, or the minimum age mandated by the
applicable law, or the age for completing compulsory education, which ever of the three is
higher.
